The Elmet Refining & Trading (“ERT”) Division of The Elmet Group is responsible for coordinating, sourcing, processing, and material delivery across our expanding global network. The ERT Division oversees upstream mining operations, as well as downstream processing and manufacturing assets.

Our ERT Division pursues a strategic, diversified, and resilient feedstock portfolio. By establishing the ERT Division, we have created an integrated platform intended to source, refine, trade, and allocate tungsten across key allied geographies.
By securing qualified tungsten feedstock from trusted suppliers, we seek to strengthen the critical materials supply chain while enabling mine to missile capabilities. Our strategy includes significant long-term offtake agreements from industry partners while capturing value from market opportunities.

Our work in critical materials began in 1929 with the foundation of The American Electro Metals Corporation, today known as Elmet Technologies, our CMC Division. Elmet Refining & Trading is built on nearly a century of tungsten expertise.
The Elmet Group supports 100+ U.S. Department of War programs, from missile components to submarines. Our ERT Division intends to extend that commitment upstream, to the refining and processing of the critical materials they depend on.
